Mission:

To teach the next generation of our community to appreciate and enjoy music through…
  • quality violin instruction
  • participation in community music groups
  • exposure to a wide variety of music and musical opportunities.
Where: Lessons in Mitchell take place in the music hall on the Dakota Wesleyan University campus. I also teach in Fulton, but please check with me for available times and lesson locations.
Parents: Are encouraged to attend and observe lessons.
Siblings: Are welcome to attend lessons while using their best concert behavior. There is plenty of space just outside the lesson room for siblings to hang out or do homework, and a large outdoor space to burn off energy.
Instruments: I encourage you to communicate with me about choosing a lesson instrument for your child. I can save you from wasting money on something that won’t work well, and I can recommend an instrument for your current level and budget.
Ensemble participation: Sounds of Treble students are required to participate in an appropriate ensemble group. There are two groups available, depending on the student’s performance level. These groups are by invitation only, at the teacher’s discretion, and invitations may not be extended to beginning students immediately.
